Working mainly in development of domestic car and electric vehicle technology; ALTINAY Group continues to produce new projects with importance attached to R&D. ALTINAY Group CEO Hakan Altinay told that they have been applying processes stipulated by Industry 4.0 and he gave example of  Optimay software they developed for glass industry and flexibly automated flat glass lines integrated into this software. Emphasizing that production plan at least based on two parameters is carried out in flat glass line ALTINAY told that using these parameters, flexibly automated and designed glass lines perform  production plan of the company online and minimize wastage thanks to Optimay interface. ALTINAY also said that instant revision could be included in the system. ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎

Hakan Altinay stated that they developed battery systems for electric vehicles expected to spread rapidly and that they can contribute to this process with power management software, transfer systems and all other peripheral units. ALTINAY also said that “We will be proud of  developing better electric vehicle projects that we carry out with 100 percent domestic engineering work and ensuring that these products are used all over the world.”

Hakan Altinay specified that last year they have undertaken important projects in particular in Russia and they set the objective of Europe and especially German automotive industry to achieve growth target. ALTINAY underlined that they are capable of selling products even in Germany hearth of Industry 4.0 with their engineering experience gained in 25 years thanks to their technological level and they could compete head to head with German competitors.

We developed Turkey’s first industrial robot HSR-4 in 1994

Hakan Altinay said that R & D foundation of ALTINAY group has been established long time ago and robot- basics he developed in 1990 for diploma graduation project with limited facilities that day created engineering and R & D basis. ALTINAY underlined that then they developed Turkey’s first industrial robot, HSR-4 in 1994 with the support of the Ministry of Industry and he said that “Despite the significant advantages of the HSR-4   compared to its competitors we couldn’t achieve our targeted growth in robot production area due to lack of growth capital. We succeed by concentrating our work in the field of system integration.”

Hakan Altinay said that in R & D activities the turnover increased up to 30 to 40 per cent in some years and in last few years they budgeted R & D works to cover 10 per cent of turnover. ALTINAY told that in next period they will focus on some major R & D projects like automatic-online models and automotive body production line that allows variants and he continued: “In addition, we are planning to apply production line technology that can be adapted to the production schedule flexibility, cooperative robots and interface technology applications. In addition, unmanned storage, electromechanical actuators with our works for greater speed and efficiency in achieving product transfer system are among our plans.” ‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎‎

Hakan Altinay claimed that flexibility can be achieved by using communication capability of the machines with Industry 4.0 and emphasized that mass production can be personalized by improving ability of communication between machines and more flexible production without any loss of efficiency.
